((Thanks! Wondering what's the best way to start up something? A forum opening post or setting up ingame RP session?))

The best way, is to do whatever you want. Some things to consider, to help you answer that question: * Do you have a vague storyline in mind for your character (assuming you already know who they are and all that, but i mean a direction for them) If yes- * Will this set up require NPCs and details that you may find easier to manage by starting a forum post. In a forum post you can control weather, NPCs, locations, items etc. * In live game RP you may be limited, unless you have actual people to play the NPCs you will need, for example. * Is your time somewhat limited for in game RP at this time? Perhaps time zone scheduling with others might be tricky at the moment. When starting a new story (introducing a char, for example) it's good to block out at least two hours, sometimes more. Be prepared to find a smooth 'end' point as well (if playing live) should your time be limited. If your time is limited, it might be best to start a forum post, just to lay foundation work until such a time you and those participating can take the thread live, into the game. When threads are taken into game, that is when the events that have happened within that thread become 'canon', and not before. If you'd like to try and schedule in game RP time, please start that thread HERE Otherwise, jump in with your forum post. HERE are some forum RP tips for when starting a thread if you need any help. ALSO- if you'd like to try and entwine your char as someone from another's past, or maybe someone they might have glanced at some night while out or whatever, we can certainly have a chat before anything gets started to facilitate your idea.

This is helpful, thanks! I'll think up a starter for a forum rp.
