The term Traitor was the IC reference to someone who broke their blood oath and left the gang. In no way does it apply to someone who left on an OOC level.
Since you would be wishing to potentially re-join the guild on a different, new character, we would look at why you left the guild on an OOC level.
If you were flagged as Green (you left on good terms OOCly, & took the time to write your character out properly) or Yellow ( people we need to be more wary about. For at some point or another they have blurred The Line and mixed IC happens with OOC emotion and or vice versa. These types, tho perhaps 'good' role-players, do not fully understand where The Line is and tend to mix what happens in character and out of character back and forth.), or Grey (a mixture of both Green and Yellow), you are welcome to try and come back.
Green Flags, we have absolutely no worries or qualms about. You are welcome to come back!
However, if you were a Yellow Flag, we will need to go back, and look at your file and see why you left/were removed, and judge on a case by case basis. This isn't a day care, i'm not here to take care of you. But i am going to look out for those in my guild and help to ensure that they, and myself, are not put through any repeat performances. Drama free zone!
You, the player, will need to clear up any misunderstandings or potential bad blood you left on your way out. (if you were Green flagged, this doesn't apply.) This will involve answering various questions and addressing any concerns the members may have. How you handle this, and how receptive everyone is, the time it takes to smooth things over may vary. Nothing will take the place of speaking live in chat, but if that option is absolutely not available, email and or in game mail is an option.
You will need to be TWICE as active on the site until such time (if it happens) that you get back in. The regular expectation is that you post at LEAST ONCE a week on the site in some form. Be it a story, open RP, or even a diary entry. As a returning member, you will need to post TWICE. A post can take under three minutes. i timed one of mine once. There is no excuse not to be able to fire something up.
Brush up on your RP!! Depending on how long you've been away, you may need to brush up on the quality of your RP to bring it back up to standards. Reacquaint yourself with RP Tips Hints & Tricks .
Have another read through the guild rules and ensure you are prepared to follow them.
To login and not say anything to anyone the entire time you are on, will not look very good. Basic manners to say hello at the very least.
Do not expect guild members to bend over backwards to accommodate you. Of course, we will be as helpful as possible, but we will not be rearranging our lives for someone who may not be very serious.
