Question from an interested person.
As an adult guild, the themes and topics that come up can be dark/mature. However, depending on the character/s involved, they could be lighthearted, comical, sad/heart-wrenching or anything in between. Think of the themes as being Slice-of-Life within Tamriel.
OOCly we are open to all well-thought-out characters, that are executed well and with maturity. However, when it comes to IC acceptance, that is something that must happen through role-play. It may not always be easy. Be prepared for that, and understand not all story-lines are like a one-hour movie. Some story-lines can take weeks, months, or longer depending. Just like real life.
As far as non-canonical races.
We are willing to hear what you've got, and will discuss the character concept within the guild. From there, we will bring to you our thoughts, and likely require more information from you to help us come to a decision.
There are races in Tamriel that are non-playable races for a reason. If you are able to effectively advocate a strong, and believable character as one of those races, chances are good we may accept it and see how it pans out.
We are here to help foster role-play and make it flourish. At the same time, we try to adhere to lore as much as possible, and work within the boundaries of what ESO has presented to us. With some creative license here and there, of course, on occasion.
