Initial impressions
Ibrahim is a slender, small-statured Redguard man with unmarked brown skin, muddy eyes flecked with the verdant color of lush forests, and long locked hair tied back from his lightly-bearded face. He dresses simply, in what is clearly wanderersโ garb: lightweight threadbare clothing whose original colors are lost to blanching rays of sun. A cracked leather strap is tied around his waist, in which two lesser quality swords rest. A makeshift satchel drapes over his shoulders; he is rarely a target for thieves as he appears to carry little of value.
If fate has been kind of late, he might have procured an old, retired caravan nag on which to ride. But more often than not he travels by foot, which he doesnโt seem to mind. In fact, he seems rather comfortable with the coarser aspects of vagabond life.
His face appears thoughtful and he appreciates the transient company of fellow wanderers. An easy smile is given to those who behave amiably, though he is noticeably reserved with elves and orcs at first meeting. He has an intense curiosity of others but remains somewhat reticent with questions about himself. He avoids necromancers and those who desecrate the dead.
Ibrahim appears to have trained in the fighting arts, however he lacks the physical strength and finesse to ever be called a great swordsman. He is a far better combat medic, with some knowledge of herbs and mixing tinctures to mend light wounds and take pains away temporarily.
Personal effects
Roleplay Hooks
Several beaded bracelets wrap both of his wrists, made of colored glass, wood, and carved ivory skulls.
A weather worn journal, the leather now so shabby that one can no longer tell what animal it came from.
An oddly shaped, well-loved four-stringed lute. Itโs kept in a tattered sack and tied around his torso while traveling.
Roleplay Hooks
- As a wanderer, youโre likely to encounter him along roads and wherever non-noble travelers congregate in town. He might be camped in a clearing or busking for coins for his evening meal next to a dockside tavern.
- He can be seen gathering a few handfuls of useful healing herbs when he spies them, so herbalists and gardeners(oops!) might bump into him.
- He willingly helps injured folk where appropriate. Protracted and magical illnesses/traumas may be beyond his skill, but he is perfectly serviceable with non-lethal wounds and minor ailments.
- Have a business? He would be willing to barter services (light manual labor, musical entertainment for a party, a tincture for that nasty rash) for needed goods.
