((Sorry for delay!)) "Oh!" Kieg pulls his pack off his back and rummages around in it for a moment before coming out with a small oil lantern. After a few moments of work he has it lit and holds it up next to the lock, casting light onto it. The internals indeed appear very similar to normal Dwarven locks, with perhaps a bit more ornamentation and complexity, but nothing that a experienced and knowledgeable picker couldn't handle.

*Fangs showed he could, in fact, have some semblance of patience. He did glare at the wizard, his yellow eyes not even blinking while he waited for the door to be unlocked.*

Standing back, as not to get in the way, she hovers near the mage, offering him a comforting smile.
"i don't blame you," she whispered softly to him, "You are doing your best. i know what it is like to not be as strong as the others."
After offering another smile, she turned her attention back to what was happening, watching the other woman at her craft.

"f***kin... Dwarven---" she bit out brokenly as she fiddled with her lock picks, squinting and peering into the keyhole every now and again, a hard scowl on her face.
She reached up blindly, grabbing at Kieg's arm, positioning the light here and there as she wanted it. "Careful man! I aint unburnable!"
As more disgruntled noises and clicks of metal on metal filled the silence about them, finally there was a loud SHHIIICKCLICK! chorused by a triumphant, "AAAH HAH!"
Kat turned a beaming smile up at the others as she stood, tumbling one of the lock picks over her fingers a few times. "I got it! Wasn't much of a challenge."

"Nicely done! ..Of course." Kieg grins back, hand automatically going to his greatsword as the door shivers and slides back on it's tracks amidst a hiss and cloud of chill vapor.
The room beyond the door is dark, but only for a moment. Electric lanterns spark and hiss into flickering life, illuminating a short hallway followed by an expansive circular room, perhaps two hundred feet in diameter. A glance upward reveals that the room is topped with a segmented glass dome, made of thick-looking panes of glass set in sturdy dwemer metal frames. Dim blue-green light filters through the part of the glass dome which hasn't silted over, and visible above is the undulating pattern of the surface of the sea, perhaps fifty more feet above.
"Oh," Kieg murmurs. "That's almost as good as magic." He tilts his head and takes a step forward for a better look without thinking.
"..Wait," the Guardian Mage's odd little voice squeaks. He sticks his arm straight out from the shoulder, pointing. "Look."
Standing unmoving at the far side of the undersea observatory is a large dwemer construct, one of the humanoid centurion designs. Around it's neck is a chain similar to the one carried by the Flame Roc, looped like a necklace, and on the end of that another key. The chain is as tight as a collar, and it looks like it won't come off unless the construct's head is removed first. For the moment the Centurion appears to be unpowered, and shows no signs of motion or awareness.

As the lanterns spark to life, there is a soft gasp of awe as Shari peeks around those in front of her.
"Look...at...that..." she breathed, slowly hovering closer to Kieg, eyes glued to the roof of the room as if in a trance, her mouth hanging open. He was already starting to move forward as she was- without thinking.
"..Wait," the Guardian Mage's odd little voice squeaks. He sticks his arm straight out from the shoulder, pointing. "Look."
The mages voice forced her back to reality, his arm going out almost booped her in the nose.
Blinking a few times, she frowned sadly, peering toward where the man was pointing, and saw the construct. "Oh my! i- i didn't even see....that!" she slipped back a foot or two. "What are we going to do?"

Fangs curled a scaly lip at Shari's words. He strode past her, giving her a yellow-eyed glare and walked right into the room.
''WE FIGHT NOW! PUNY ELF USE COLD MA-GICKSS. NO HOT, NO STEAM! MAKE IT SSSLOWER!'' He pointed to Kieg ''YOU GO RIGHT, I GO LEFT! SSSNAKE-WOMAN GOES BEHIND FOR KEY! KEEP MAH-CHINE CONFUSED!'' This last, directed again at Kieg.
Without waiting to know if anyone was onboard with his plan or now, he raised his giant spiked weapon, bellowed out a roar and charged, aiming for the left side of the construct.*

((i let out such a loud, wheezing laugh reading this Ria stared up at me to make sure i was ok.))
Kat was right behind Fangs in step, almost beside him, stopping one step ahead of him to listen to him speak and spare a second or two to weigh his words.
Eyes narrowed, she sneered, nodding faintly. The plan could work, or, by splitting up like that, something of that size could easily ping off each person easily.
"Wait- we a---"
And Fangs was roaring and charging ahead.
"f***k!" her jaw clenched before she bellowed and lurched forward, "Move, MOVE! Everyone, rush it TOGETHER! Split up at the last moment! Shari, hang back and frost the f***ker from a distance!" If that thing hit Shari, she'd be smeared into a paste.
The red haired woman was a few steps behind Fang's as she ran, unable to look back to see if the rest were following or not. They had better be, else the construct wouldn't be the only thing they'd have to worry about.
As the distance closed, she sized it up, the closer she got. "MAGE! Give us some more LIGHT!"
She would continue rushing in, then dash between its legs trying to get behind it, then try and look for moments to attempt to climb it. It had to have some weak spots somewhere, she would shove her dagger into whatever one she could find.

As the group enters the room, green and purple lightning surges over the body for the construct for the briefest of moments, and then the centurion springs to life, amidst a sudden gout of steam and a mechanical roar so loud and piercing it echoes for the span of three seconds.
Holding station near the door, the Guardian mage raises his arms and several large globules of light emerge from his sleeves, floating swiftly upwards before increasing in brightness to shed illumination over the scene. "Good luck!" he croaks, but doesn't seem too intent on drawing any closer to the fighting.
Kieg charges in with an excited war shout, bearing a little to the right as he goes, waving his greatsword over his head in an attention-getting flourish before slamming it into the construct's side. Sparks fly and a sizeable divot is chunked out the machine's metal plating, but little real damage is done on this first strike. Still, it seems as though while thick, the metal is pliable enough to eventually be hacked or slammed through by heavy weapons, given enough time and force, and a more discerning eye could pick out several spots where the armor is deceptively much thinner than one might expect, and gaps around the joints where there is no armoring at all.
The machine turns in the Nord's direction and hauls back a colossal metal fist. Electricity crackles as the construct throws a massive electrically-charged punch that the surprisingly light-footed warrior spins away from, though his side and legs are left tingling from the brush of lightning tendrils as the fist slams down into the floor. The impact knocks condensation from the walls and ceiling in a brief shower as the construct's deafening war whistle sounds again.
(( Fight's on! Have fun but please don't bring this thing down just yet. It'll be focused on Kg for a while. If Shari does use ice magic it'll be pretty effective in slowing this thing down.))

Squeaking, Shari held her hands firmly against her large ears, shrinking down, to try and protect herself from the loud noise.
As instructed, she hung back, but still within range of the construct, which happened to be not far from the mage. Her heart was pounding with fear and excitement as the construct came to life.
Clenching her jaw with determination, she narrowed her glowing eyes on the scene and sucked in a determined breath. As little hands drew her staff forward, and in a graceful arc around her before sweeping outward, she uttered a few sharp words which caused her robe to flare and flutter with icy winds, her long hair whipping about her and the mage, as she extended the spell forward toward the construct.
Large shards of ice erupted from the floor in an icy gush of frost, chilling a very wide, circular area around the construct. Soon after, she then began another dance, more words pouring from her lips as she swung her staff and enveloped her friends in a swirling icy shield of protection that would help heal any wounds for a short time- for as long as she had the energy to keep it up.

*Fangs stopped short of attacking the construct. Kieg seemed to have things in hand and the bosmer wasn't all -that- bad, as it turns out. He turned to Kat and cupped his massive hands, gesturing with a toss of his spiked head towards the construct. Now was as good a time as any to make this plan work. The construct was busy and slowed down.
As soon as Kat would step in his hands, he was ready to help her leap onto its back.*

Kieg was doing what he was good at, Kat decided in a quick rush, drawing the things attention and waving his weapon around.
She had noticed the weakness in the constructs armor, "Keep doing what yer doing, Nord!" she called out, "Go fer its knees! ITS KNEES, the JOINTS!" eyes sweeping over the others, thankful the mage was being useful.
The lizard looked ready to launch her. She followed his train of thinking immediately. Grunting, she weaved and dodged to get back to him, but before placing a heeled boot into his hands she pressed close and yelled at him, "When I get up there, it's likely gonna try and-" she hissed ducking a shot of electricity, "fling me off, go at it HARD!"
As she placed her foot in his cupped hands, she had the fleeting thought the construct could potentially even take her out with electricity the moment she touched it. Fuuuuuck...
She only had bare seconds to try and alter her choice- or she was just gonna have to fly and potentially die.
((Kieg need you to do a roll or something... Kat is gonna try to hook a hand under Fang's pauldron and swing onto his back before he launches her, and get her feet up on his shoulders to sorta ride him.
If she fails and gets launched before this happens, well, have to, 1, see if she can find a place to grab the construct, and then 2... i guess see what happens when/if she does.))

(( Youโre always free to do whatever you feel like seems reasonable, or can hash out with another player, but Iโll do some d100 rolls:
Attempting to Grab onto Fang to avoid being thrown: 79 (Iโd say hat passes, but itโs up to you)
(Optional if you decide a 79 fails (seems unlikely, but who knows..) 2: Attempting to grab construct: 63 (Probably succeeds, maybe by a slim margin) 3: Result of grabbing construct: 100 (Holy hell) ))
โOkay!โ Kieg calls back, dodging another blow of the constructโs titanic, crackling fist. As heโd been taught he skips to the side as he takes another swing at the machine, trying it keep itโs attention on him. He grins as the massive golem turns to keep facing him, presenting itโs back to the others.
Swing at the joints, huh? That seemed like a pretty good ide- his thought is interrupted by a searing jolt as lightning from the constructโs outstretches fingers runs up the length of his arm, again leaving it numb and tingling. He grips his weapon tighter with both hands, wincing. Well okay, maybe better to concentrate on not getting hit by this thing right now and let the others take care of it..

"Hold on Sir!" she cried as Kieg got zapped. It had given her an idea.
Sucking in a deep breath, the little elf ran in a little closer, yet still out of the constructs immediate reach, and circled her staff wide in the air. When she brought it down, she planted the end hard into the floor and let loose a short cry. Electricity of her own erupted upward, safe for her comrades, not so safe for the large electrical creature. It was her hope the electricity might short it out- even for a moment. Her spell didn't last super long unfortunately, and it required a goof bit of energy, so she could only use it sparingly.
